Humanism and British Values

Upper school had a special visit. John, Humanist, geneticist, scientist and University teacher. He taught in many Universities around the world. He explained what is being a Humanist and what difference exists between being a Humanist (Non religious group) and being religious.

Humanists are a “non religious” people. They believe in Science and in genetic background. All knowledge was discovered by people, by using their own intellect and evidences.

They practise a moral code based on values where we decide for ourselves through empathy and compassion.

By sharing human values, respecting   human rights and concerning for future generations, we might get a better attitude towards the world.

Very positive and healthy perspective.
