Charlie goes red to show his support

During half term, Charlie, one of our students, decided to dye his hair bright red!

The reason he did this was in support of his cousin who has had a bone marrow transplant at Great Ormond Street Hospital.  The chemo therapy treatment causes him to lose his hair and Charlie wanted to show his support for him and it reminds him every day of the battle his cousin is going through.

Charlie hasn’t been able to see his cousin since he went into hospital but he is looking forward to seeing him soon. The transplant has been successful and he is now at home.
